BUMPED BY THE BUDGET…

UPDATE: SB1118 didn’t make it onto the Arizona House agenda today because the Legislature’s focus has (understandably) shifted to finalizing the state budget.

But we’re still in this. And your voice still matters!

SB1118 is about smart, balanced growth. It gives cities the tools to add housing without sacrificing historic homes. It protects long-standing neighborhoods from speculative demolition — while still allowing thoughtful, compatible development.

Ways to stay engaged while we wait for the House vote:

• Send a quick, respectful follow-up email to your representatives;

• Thank those who have already supported SB1118; and

• Remind AZ House members this bill is a practical, commonsense solution — not a partisan one!
