Support Historic Arizona

WE SUPPORT preserving Arizona’s irreplaceable historic districts — vibrant neighborhoods that reflect the state’s rich architectural heritage, cultural identity, and sense of place. These communities tell the story of Arizona’s past and deserve thoughtful protection for future generations.

WE OPPOSE demolition and redevelopment of historic neighborhoods to allow townhomes, duplexes, triplexes, and four-plexes to disrupt the character, scale, and integrity of these cherished areas under the “Middle Housing Law” (A.R.S. 9-462.13, HB2721)

WE BELIEVE new construction — including accessory dwelling units (ADUs) — should follow established Historic Preservation guidelines to ensure that additions are respectful, compatible, and consistent with the unique fabric of each district.
